    Finally off, WET, WET, and more WET, sleep!

Day Two: Saturday, June 9th, 2001
    Austin, Tx., to Las Cruces, NM. -- 640 miles
    Nothing according to plan, cramped and bored, Chasing windmills?, A bike washing party, Dinner and a soft bed.

Day Three: Sunday, June 10th, 2001
    Las Cruces, NM., to Flagstaff, Az. -- 520 miles
    Oh my God straight roads, Hidden valleys, Last chance gas?, Ghost town and coppermine, Hours on end of twisty roads, Petrified Forest, Bad Tire, Nestled in the mountains

Day Four: Monday, June 11th, 2001
    Flagstaff, Az., to Zion, Ut. -- 289 miles
    Late start, Leaving a rider behind, The Grand Canyon, HOT HOT HOT!, Straight, Winding, COLD, Desert, Forests, Another planet.

Day Five: Tuesday, June 12th, 2001
    Zion, Ut., to Bullfrog Marina on Lake Powell, Ut. -- 388 miles
    Riding through the mountain, Bryce Canyon, The highway to Heaven, 50mph Crosswinds, Is this it? A companion reunited.

Day Six: Wednesday, June 13th, 2001
    Bullfrog Marina, Ut., to Moab, Ut. -- 327 miles
    Catching the Ferry, Cold, Overcast and Windy, Gravel roads down the mountain, A Sandstorm, Sleet, Dinner at Eddie McStiff's, soaking in the Hottub.

Day Seven: Thursday, June 14th, 2001
    Moab, Ut., to Montrose, Co. -- 253 miles
    Deadhorse Canyon, Running the river, Slabbing to Grand Junction, The Colorado National Monument, Meeting up with the Rallye.

Day Eight: Friday, June 15th, 2001
    First Day of the Rallye -- 292 miles
    Black Canyon of the Gunnison, 16% grades!, The Cimmaron River Railroad bridge to nowhere, Riding in the sky, Mountain climbing cows, Mad Dog's Fountain Cafe, Blitzing the Grand Mesa... Twice!, Separate ways, Find the VFR, Parking lot bull session.

Day Nine: Saturday, June 16th, 2001
    Second Day of the Rallye -- 310 miles
    New pavement and blue skies, Bear!!, Bug storms, Mile after mile of blissful canyon carving, You're gonna drink that!?, A dealership to die for, Blitzing the Grand Mesa again, Homemade icebox, Dinner and Elections.

Day Ten: Sunday, June 17th, 2001
    Montrsoe, Co., to Las Cruces, NM. -- 540 miles
    Can it get any prettier? Can it get any hotter? Can it get any straigher? Can we get out of this ticket? Another sandstorm, A Father's day dinner.

Day Eleven: Monday, June 18th, 2001
    Las Cruces, NM., to Huntsville, Tx. -- 790 miles
    Cramped and bored again, winding down, A beautiful sunset, back in Austin, heading for home, good to be back!.
