3rd Annual East Texas Spring Ride to Hodges Gardens, La., April 6-7th, 2002.

The Gathering

This would be me ;-) A beautiful self portrait hehe.

That is Brian Jones on the left, he's taking in the cool RC-51 paint job on David's VFR. That is Pete Diaz in the center. Achim and Shane are in the background, Achim on the left.

Here we see a great close up of Will's high tech riding loafers in the bottom left corner of the shot. These babys have some serious miles on them. That is Will's Triumph Trophy 1200 to the right of David's VFR.

This is Brian again with his Duc. I ask him to look like he likes his bike, but instead I get a stunned "I can't believe I spent this much" look ;-) That is my lovely wife, Beth in the background.

This is Achim's new 98 Triumph Speed Triple. He just bought it used and this is his first long distance trip on the bike. He also has a 92 VFR 750 at home.

My group of riding buddies believes in keeping them in the family. I bought my first bike from Will, a 92 Nighthawk 750. He replaced it with this Kawasaki ZRX 1100. Then he got his Trophy and decided two bikes was just not worth the hassle. He made Shane a "friend" deal and now the bike is Shane's. It took us a few years to get Shane to sell his worn out old 87 Yamaha VMax, but he finally did it. We're all real proud of him ;-)
