  It appears that the portly chipmunks are not the only beggars in the area. This guy is so familiar with people he does not seem very concerned about me getting quite close to him. It must really be something to see his view of the canyons. Bird cam...?

  This is the first picture of Ponderosa Point. It reminds me of a funnel. The soil has mostly eroded away through the same narrow slit in the cliff face. This has left behind a bowl shape rimmed with the spires. Very cool. Once again, the chipmunks are scampering back and forth across the loose rocks causing small slides.
